Nelson Mandela Emerging Innovation Excellence Award 2020 was awarded to Mr John Andrews and the Studio Make [2nd year BAS] team of 2019. The project was awarded for its innovative technical detailing that explored standard low-cost materials and basic construction skills to resolve complex issues of portability and flexibility in the design and construction of CX3.
Nelson Mandela Emerging Innovation Excellence Award 2017 awarded to Dr Jean-Pierre Basson for the development of a computer-based lecture series to promote inclusivity within Architectural Computer Usage.
Prof Magda Minguzzi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture.
